Which of these 3 would you consider the smarter buy?

A: Kia is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hyundai.
Presently the news of the line is not good and they may be shut down.

Aveo..... well General Motors say no more.
They shut down their best lines in Pontiac and Saturn.

Hyundai seems to be a good line and people with them like them.
I wonder how many are actually avoiding complaining about their purchases.

Before buying any of these you might want to look at the Japanese lines.
They are a little higher in initial cost but long term are more reliable and overall
have lower operating costs.

Toyota Corolla
Mazda 3
Subaru Impreza

Come to mind.

My sons have a Mazda3 and Toyota Corolla both get better than 35 MPG highway and with
the factory bumper to bumper warranty is essentially no service cost except tires for 100,000 miles.

I drive a Cooper S but not in snow which is probably not going to work unless you have a truck in the drive as well.
