Toyota Etios Sedan, which was launched in India on Wednesday. The car has been priced between Rs. 4.96 Lakhs and Rs. 6.8 Lakhs.
People can own the basic model of Etios for Rs 4.96 lakh, which is pretty affordable. Toyota Etios will surely give competition to cars like Maruti-Suzuki Swift Dzire and Tata Indigo.
At the launch of the vehicle, a Toyota official said that that the car is suitable for Indian roads as It has been tried on all kind of roads
The official added that Toyota spend five years in the making of Etios and during this period several Indian families were consulted for their kind of car.
Mr. Akio Toyoda, President of Toyota Motor Corporation was present at the launch of Toyota Etios in Bangalore on Wednesday.
Toyoda said that "Today , more than 80 years later, we celebrate a new arrival of Toyota technology in India and this historic day marks a new chapter in the story of Toyota in India - A new Toyota for Indian needs"
